  2. Hi Dr.Anonymous,
I am not sure you are pursuing MD Community Medicine / MBBS for which your concern refers to. Textbook of Community Medicine by Dr Sunderlal is really a good book to understand some of the concepts in Community Medicine which you find difficult from Park's. The introductory chapter where he describes what community medicine is and how to approach it is excellent primer for those fresh to the subject, re-orienting them towards the practical importance of this subject to physicians. Likewise, the approach is very practical in most of the chapters, where the author adds his personal experiences and anecdotes to the theoretical frameworks, where possible. Overall, highly recommended along with textbooks by other Indian authors for MD Community Medicine.
