Commemorating World Health Day 2012, the Community Medicine Department, Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad is conducting a mega health camp at AK Plaza Function Hall, Near Ali Cafe, Amberpet, Hyderabad on 7th April, 2012. In line with the theme of this year's WHD, Ageing and Health - Good health adds life to years , we are conducting a household survey in the adjoining under-served areas with a special emphasis to the health status of elderly from 1st to 5th April, 2012 with the participation of interns and undergraduate students. With this current survey, we would like to enable the students to experience what collaborative research can achieve, in terms of identifying the changing demographic and morbidity patterns in our local community and compare it with the national and global trends.
